The Turning Tide

Yes, we've had a bad run over the past year. First, the election of Bush, then the election of that Pope. But that is all behind us now. The tide will start turning this year. The pendulum is on the upswing - it's been stuck in the extreme right position for too long.

I have a good feeling about the election of Virginia's Tim Kaine as Governor this year. And, in a scant eighteen months from right now, the mid-term elections will take place. And I am certain that a certain backwards Senator from Pennsylvania will be dethroned. That's right, I predict that Casey will defeat Santorum and in the process end any misguided plans Santorum may have for higher office.

As a Pennsylvania native, I will work all of my connections, use all of my capital, do everything in my power to help defeat Santorum. I'm positive that a state that went for Kerry will not move backwards and re-elect that Senator "way out of the mainstream" Santorum. One year and a half and then it's back to Western PA for Ricky. Woohoo!

I've posted a pic that I find very ironic; it's a pic of one of Santorum's in-state constituent offices. It happens to be a few doors down from an "alternative" bar. Let's hope the staff heads over there after work and toasts their boss. ;)
