If we could turn back time
Pondering the state of the union in late-2007, I think about what a different world this would be now if Gore had become president in 2000. Anyway, here are two questions I wonder about from the last two presidential elections (I know, I know, you can't live in the past, water under the bridge, etc., but a guy can ponder, can't he). Did anyone ever write stories on these hypotheticals?
- If Gore was elected in 2000, is there a chance 9/11 wouldn't have happened?
- If Gephart was the nominee in 2004, is it possible Bush would have lost?
